1. General
General terms and conditions for regular membership, support membership, membership benefits and participation in events between you (“Member”, “you”, “your” “yours”) and Vertolens Vänner (“the association”, “the organization”, “our”, “us”) org. no. 802539-1841, when purchasing membership, event tickets and other products or services provided by us.
- Valid membership is a prerequisite for you to be able to participate in activities and events arranged by us.
- These membership terms and conditions apply for as long as you have a valid membership.
- In addition to these terms and conditions, your membership is also governed by the association’s statutes.
- By becoming a member, you agree to follow and agree to the Friends of Vertolens Vänner’s general terms and conditions, our privacy policy and the association’s statutes.
2. Personal data processing
By becoming a member, you agree that Vertolens Vänner and third parties procured by us store and process your personal data. All processing is carried out in accordance with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (2016/679) , which regulates how personal data may be processed. 3. Membership
The association consists of regular members and supporting members.
3.1. Regular membership
- Only regular members have voting rights in the association and must consist of a natural person who possesses specific skills that the association needs to run the association or to assist the operator/owner of the Vertol helicopter to keep it flying, with all that that entails.
- A regular member must pay a membership fee decided by the association’s general meeting.
- Ordinary members have voting rights at the general meeting and the right to authorize another ordinary member to represent them at the general meeting. An ordinary member present at the general meeting may only authorize one (1) other ordinary member to represent them.
3.2. Supporting membership
- Supporting member is a natural or legal person who is not a regular member.
- A supporting member must pay a membership fee decided by the association’s general meeting.
- A supporting member has the right to attend and speak, but does not have the right to vote at the association’s general meeting.
- A power of attorney may be given to another member for the purpose of informing the general meeting or giving a statement.
- A supporting member may participate in such activities as the association’s general meeting, board of directors or officer decides.
- A supporting member can contribute with sponsorship resources. This can be, for example, contributions, their own or someone else’s work, goodwill, materials, knowledge, transportation, premises, presence or anything else that promotes the Association’s purpose.

3.3. Family Support Membership
- Supporting Family Member is one or more natural or legal persons, who are not regular members, and are residing at the same address.
- Supporting Family membership is subject to the same requirements and has the same rights/obligations as a supporting membership.
- Minors are considered those up to and including 17 years of age and these can be granted membership within the framework of Family Support Membership.
3.4. Honorary member
- An honorary member is nominated by a member or the board and appointed by the annual general meeting.
- An honorary member cannot be a regular member.
- An honorary member pays no membership fee.
3.5. General membership terms and conditions
- Membership is not transferable.
- Vertolens Vänner has the right to deny membership to applicants without specifying a reason. For example, if there is suspicion of fraud or if the applicant does not meet our membership requirements.
- The Association reserves the right to terminate or exclude a member who violates the Association’s statutes or these terms and conditions and/or who, through active or passive action, has failed to pay membership fees or other fees that membership entails, otherwise behaves in a manner that harms the Association’s purposes, or is not considered suitable to participate in the Association’s activities through his or her conduct.
- A member may be expelled from the Association by decision of the board or a decision at an association meeting.
4. Validity period, renewal and termination of membership
4.1. Validity period
- All our memberships are valid for the calendar year in which the membership was applied for.
- If you apply for membership from the period November to the end of December, the membership is also valid for the following calendar year.
4.2. Renewal of membership
- Membership renewal reminders are normally sent 30 days before the expiration date, via email or via a third party hired by Vertolens Vänner to administer the membership system and payment solution.
4.3. Right of withdrawal
- You have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you sign up for your membership via our website according to the Distance Contracts and Contracts Outside Business Premises Act.
- If you cancel your purchase within the deadline, please contact our member service by email to info@vertolensvanner.se . The date for the right of withdrawal is calculated from the time you contacted us about the matter.
- Refunds of paid membership fees will then be made as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 banking days.
4.4. Termination of membership
- You can choose to terminate your membership and request withdrawal from the association at any time by notifying the association’s board in writing via email medlem@vertolensvanner.se.
- No refund of the membership fee will be made in the event of termination during the current calendar year.
5. Member responsibilities
5.1. Obligations upon joining the association
- As a member, you agree to:
- Respect the association’s statutes and purpose; and
- Not to use the association’s name, trademarks or resources for personal or commercial purposes without approval from the board of the Friends of Vertolens; and
- Behave in a manner that does not harm the reputation of the association or its members.
6. Member benefits
- As a member you get:
- Newsletters and updates about our and our partners’ activities.
- Opportunity to participate in the association’s activities and events.
- Exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets for flights with “Yngve 70”, when offered. Please note that you must have been a member for at least 90 days to be eligible to fly with Y70. This is a government requirement and is beyond our control.
- Opportunity to purchase promotional products and other products provided by Vertolens Vänner.
7. Changes to membership terms and benefits
- Vertolens Vänner may change these terms and conditions at any time and it is your responsibility as a member to keep yourself up to date on these terms and conditions. The latest date from which the terms and conditions apply is always presented at the top of this document.
- Changes in membership prices, membership benefits, services and products may occur at any time and are communicated to members via email or other channel and updated terms and conditions are published on the association’s website.
- Price changes are not retroactive, which means that you pay the price that was in effect when you made the payment for the membership or event.
8. Payment terms
- Vertolens Vänner uses a third party for payment solutions and membership management systems.
- At the time of establishing these terms and conditions, we use the following companies;

- When paying membership fees and/or purchasing tickets for events via our website, payment is made using one of the payment options available on the website. These solutions are provided by third parties and are subject to change without notice.
- In the event of late payment, Vertolens Vänner has the right to charge interest on late payment according to law and an administrative fee. This does not apply to membership renewals.
9. Refund policy when purchasing goods or other services
9.1. Right of withdrawal
If you wish to cancel your purchase, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt of the goods or service, in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
9.2. Refund conditions
- The item must be returned in the same condition as it was received, including original packaging and accompanying documentation.
- If services have commenced, a proportional refund may be made based on work already delivered.
9.3. Implementation of the refund
- Refunds are made via the same payment method used for purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
- Processing refunds can take up to 14 business days from the date the returned item is received or the return request is approved.
10.Dispute Policy
10.1. Dispute resolution between the parties
Any disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation between you (the customer) and
us (the association).
10.2. Mediation and legal review
If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, mediation can be initiated through an independent third party, such as the Swedish National Complaints Board (ARN). Ultimately, the dispute can be decided by a Swedish general court with the Gothenburg District Court as the first instance.
10.3. International disputes
For customers outside Sweden, dispute resolution applies in accordance with the EU Consumer Directive or other applicable international legislation.
11. Cancellation Policy
11.1. Cancellation conditions
- The customer has the right to cancel an order before delivery has begun free of charge.
- If cancellation occurs after delivery has begun, a cancellation fee equivalent to 10% of the total amount will be charged.
11.2. Timeframes
Cancellation of services must be made at least 14 days before the service is to be performed to avoid additional fees.
11.3. Exceptions
- Special orders and customized products cannot be canceled after production has begun.
- Services that have already been performed are not refundable.
12. Terms and conditions for any promotions
12.1. Validity period
Promotions are only valid for the specified period of time and cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases.
12.2. Limitations
Discounts and offers cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise expressly stated.
Promotions are only valid while stocks last.
12.3. Refund of promotional goods
- If a promotional item is returned, the actual amount paid will be refunded, not the original price of the product.
- Any refund of promotional offers will only take place if all conditions for the campaign continue to be met.
12.4. Changes and interruptions
Vertolens Vänner reserves the right to change, cancel or end promotions at any time without prior notice.
13. Changes to times, events, offerings and member benefits
- Vertolens Vänner reserves the right to add or remove services linked to membership without notice. For example, the association may periodically offer members products with profile printing, which will then cease to be offered.
- Vertolens Vänner reserves the right to change dates for events and activities or cancel planned activities/flights depending on the number of registrations or other circumstances beyond Vertolens Vänner’s control. Examples of this may be flight cancellations due to bad weather, technical problems or other situations where flight safety may be negatively affected. In such cases, the fee paid will normally be refunded to the member as soon as possible, no later than within 10 banking days.
14. Force-Majeure event and liability
Vertolens Vänner is not liable for damage or events that are due to government action, war or similar. This also includes strikes, blockades, boycotts and lockouts where our operations may be affected. Vertolens Vänner is also not liable in other cases for damages in the event of normal care, and, in the event of gross negligence or intent, under no circumstances for indirect damages, unless this is required by mandatory law.
